Kicking off the 4th!

Filed under: Sphere Contextual Widget — sphere @ 4:29 am

We’re all talking about the 2008 Presidential elections, who we like, who we don’t. Several of our partners have asked us to work with them on a plug-in that is focused on the upcoming election campaign. The goal of our Politcal plug-in is to provide a broader perspective on the candidates and all the items that will shape the future of the world by connecting lots of different voices/ opinions. That’s a daunting challenge but we feel like w’ve come up with a unique approach to enabling bloggers to connect their opinions and their readers to similar and alternative view-points on the topics they’re passionate about.

July 4th seems like a perfect day to launch our three new Political plug-ins for WordPress.org bloggers – you can adapt your plug-in to one of these for the political season: Left, Right, Balanced … If you’re a political blogger, this is an informative and fun way to add to your site’s user experience. Just go to the “Plugins” section in your WordPress admin UI, you’ll see a new section called “Sphere Configuration” after you’ve installed the plugin. You’ll be able to select your widget type there. More widget types (politics and beyond) coming soon.

Happy 4th!
